Up for sale is a mint Buck Marksman. $87 including paypal fees and shipping. I have only used the knife to open packages so it is very nearly in "new" condition. I have replaced the stainless steel washers with phosphor bronze ones, for smoother opening due to the natural lubricity of phosphor bronze. I didn't have any more pictures on hand but i am happy to provide more upon request, just post on this thread or send me a pm.

Don't these knives run on bearings? And if you did replace the stainless washers, you removed the hardened washers that the bearings are supposed to run on so they don't wear on the aluminum frame.

Yes they do run on bearings. Technically i added .005" washers underneath the stainless washers, I didn't remove them. That said, I don't think that they actually use HT'd washers, as the washers were actually positioned between the bearings and blade. That may have just been an assembly mistake, but i doubt it. I assume that the thought was that since the aluminum had been hard anodized it wouldn't wear as quickly. Not sure. That said, I did flip it to be where it "should" be when i reassembled it. The setup is like this now:

!!! Scale !!! .005" PB washer !!! .010" SS washer !!! Caged Bearing !!! Blade !!! etc......................
