Hi BG,

I saw one of these fishing the bay yesterday. He has more than one of them for sale....go figure. The one I saw had no referance to Buck at all, only Maxam. Looks like the seller is trying a few discriptions to see what sell's best. Buyers beware....I'd say its a clear fake. I do like the Micarta handle :).

I did report it, but they usually (always?) have to hear from Buck on these before they'll do anything.

Interesting, anyhow......but dishonest.
 
That knife is an abomination Buck would never have anything to do with a cheapo manufacturer like Maxam a truely disgusting fake.
 
If anybody at Buck is reading here, this might be a good time to contact e-Bay and get this auction pulled.

(Unless you really DO have a Maxim collaboration going.)

I've notified the proper authority here so hopefully these will get pulled before anyone is disapointed to learn that we did not have a colaboration with Maxam.

I saw that, Rich.

Point is......the proper folks either didn't do anything or bought the knife themselves.
