Nice score! Gotta check out that Bass Pro Shop 154 110 though!
I just got back from Bass Pro..... the knife counter guy says he ain't never heard of 154 in a Buck.... I told him to keep an 'EYE ' out for them, as I am sure that they are making them... Sarah Buck said for sure this summer 110's Custom Shop in Damascus and 154.Their (Bass Pro) Alpa Dorado's were not 154 and I know Buck sells them.

They do have them on the Basspro web-site, $64.99.

Sales clerks...gotta love'em...since they won't let us hunt them...:D

:D ...LOL...We need to petition for an "open season" on 'em TLC...Lord knows there's enough of 'em around...LOL...

I just ordered one ..... the Dallas store said they don't have them,so will not
waste my time with them.

Why does the pic have an Idaho tang stamp???

Is it only available with that black/gray blade finish??? :grumpy:

It does have an asterik in the line where the part number is (38-886-460-01) indicating "limited supply".
I'm gonna give the bass pro shop in orlando a call tomorrow and see if they have them in stock ... hopefully they'll be able to tell if it's in their inventory by the part #so I won't have to waste a drive there if they don't have any. :)

Doesn't the photo of the scales of the 110 in 154 CPM look like rosewood? I sure hope it is rosewood.

Looks like the only finish... just received 271 Alpha Dorado w/ 154 (ebay especial ') has a semi gloss shine to the blade.... did my paper towel test this baby is sharp!!! I will take a picture of it .

Really been out of the knife quest for a while, just went to Bass Pro today and got one. Can't beat the price for a handsome 110 with good steel. It comes with a leather 110 sheath in burgundy.

Guys, help me understand this. Bass Pros has a new Buck 110 with 154cmp
BUT Buck does not offer it, even from the Custom Shoppe? I guess I am missing something in Buck's marketing strategy. :( Was this product the result of Bass Pro WANTING something not available elsewhere? $62 bucks doesnt seem like to expensive for the knife so it must not be the cost of the steel preventing Buck from offering it, so why?
