Buck Model 110 in 154 cmp

154cmp and ats-34 are roughly equivilent-----the custom shop offers ats-34.

ats-34 is a Japan copy of 154cpm useing americian sorce steel
( ya had to know there was a reason i changed mind on that! )
the makers of 154 has some purity issues and every one switched
but now thay have it solved so it is a catch up for market share again...
least that is my thoughts

I just got back from Bass Pro..... the knife counter guy says he ain't never heard of 154 in a Buck.... I told him to keep an 'EYE ' out for them, as I am sure that they are making them... Sarah Buck said for sure this summer 110's Custom Shop in Damascus and 154.Their (Bass Pro) Alpa Dorado's were not 154 and I know Buck sells them.
My Alpha Dorado is 154CM and the 110 is CPM154...both from BP and both have some kind of racing logo that would look cool on a bike gas tank paint job of flames and the intitials "BOS".

Doesn't the photo of the scales of the 110 in 154 CPM look like rosewood? I sure hope it is rosewood.
Rosebud

BTW:

I have the 110BP 110 with a 2006 stamp and a 2005 box. Go figure.

Going to send it out for some Muskrat Love.

Maybe Jigged Oriental Buff and red spacers w/ back spring file work (same as in the post linked below) and file work along the blade spine.

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4536455&postcount=1

WAS thinking of sending in my 110AG, but think the yellow logo will clash with the red spacers.

BUT, I do think the Buff scales will look good with the black coated blade.

Open for suggestions on the scales/spacers as it is gonna be a few days before I can get to the Post Office anyway.

Thanks in advance for your comments...

...

Me thinks you should use Circus peanuts for scales....easily replacable
and mighty tasty....especially the fat free ones.:D ...scans rivets.
they are hard on the teeth.:D

Well...I shoulda said "thanks in advance for MOST of your comments".
LOL Ron. I figured those circus peanuts would be more worthwhile for you in the packing of that box than those styrofoam shipping peanuts.
Glad you like 'em. :)

Anyway, whatcha think of a Asian Buff black coated 110?

And, I need to vent, those styrofoam peanuts are a pain in the arse.

Nice scores EEE

I did a bit of foraging myself today. Picked up a NIB crystal and a like new 110 that will probably get customed and sold.
