Buck or Buck +...

Yes...

Case provides me with traditional bone-covered slipjoints, and Buck provides rugged knives of excellent quality and durability for a very good price.
That's kind of how it is for me.
Case has more slipjoint patterns has bone covers and has carbon steel blades, Buck has the belt knives the value proposition and a preferable working finish on their blades

Thirty five Randall's....I still dream about a yard sale here in Florida and a box of them comes out filled with them. But knowing myself I probably would tell them what they had..

LoL you don’t tell them what they got just try to not act excited and pay them a little extra, when I’m buying at the flea market if they say $10 and if I think that’s to cheap. I’ll give them $20, but most people there will say will you take $5 . LoL

LOL, You have to be a savvy horse-trader, which I am not. I went to a gun show down in Columbus GA a few years ago and a fellow had several tables full of knives and books, from old to new. At the time I had never handled a Buck Marksman, but he had one new in the box and I asked to see it. I like most things Buck, but being a 110 guy, the strap-lock felt a bit strange, but I knew what they were selling for, so I asked, “how much?” He came back with a price in the $20-something dollar range. I then made horse-trader mistake #1 of asking “are you sure?” He being gracious replied, “Yep, but this is your last chance if I have to get out the book.” So I then made horse-trader mistake #2 and told him the approximate value of said knife and bought a book instead.
