buck or schrade?

The current Schrade Old Timer knives are pretty good for their price range. I own a few and I admit they're not knives to be proud of owning, for sure, but they are decent working knives. But there's nothing in the current Schrade product line comparable in quality to a current Buck 110. Given that the 110 can be found for less than $40 these days, it's a no brainer to get one.

I myself have a buck 110 but found it to heavy and the tip to thin so i went over to a kershaw wild cat ridge with 8cr13mov i found to be more to my liking.
