Buck Quality Issues

I don't believe that little bit of a step in the blade notch isn't supposed to be there making the notch a bit narrow for the lockbar to seat in properly. I would ask for a hand picked replacement.

blade lock got missed getting cut to size. Not sure how that would have made it out of the building like that with how many hands it has to go through. Please accept our aplogies. I was out, so sorry for the late reply. I have forwarded your issue to warranty or call into consumer relations for an exchange shich will be faster.

Thanks

Jeff

I just got this 110 Slim Pro TRX directly from Buck for a Christmas gift and it arrived like this... Is there quality control really this bad? How could this ever make it into a box? Open or closed the lockbar is completely messed up. How long do you think it would take Buck to replace this? Sorry for the rant, I'm just really disappointed 🫠

I apologize that you received that knife. Please send me a message if you haven't got a hold of Customer Service yet and I will get you a pre-paid label to get it back here and send you a replacement. Please include your shipping information or your order number.

Yeah that sucks... hard to imagine that whoever did the final assembly didn't open and close the knife at least once just to check function, and if they did you think they would have noticed an issue. But its production and if you've ever work production you know you can space out a bit and just go through the motions of the day sometime. Sh*t happens. Sounds like they will make it right so not a huge deal.

I like that.
The fact that a human put the knife together, creates the possibility that errors are made, and imperfections are possible.

And somehow I prefer it just that way.
Sorta means something knowing someone somewhere built my knife.
👍

I'm pretty impressed for the most part.
