Buck ROLL CALL, what ya carrying?

All your knives are so purty and purfect. Here is one that has ridden around in my pocket and used every day since I bought it new. Its an old micarta Esquire 501. Over its many years of existence it has lost some blade but must have been sharpened hundreds of times. Still cuts like a trooper and doing well in its old age.

wow, thats impressive:thumbup: What is that, about 30 years or so now?
 
I'm carrying a Vantage Force Pro now, but tonight at work I'll switch to a yellow 301.
 
The 501 came out in 1975 with an exposed rocker rivet (not Tele's) . Then in 1977 Buck began to hide the rocker rivet . So, his is from around that date . Still, a classy knife .DM
 
This was a christmas present to myself this year, been carrying it everyday since as my main folder. Its NS, finger grooves, water buffalo scales and black blade. Scales and bolsters have loads of scrathes already but I bought it to be my user so no complaints. love the look of this knife, my camera isnt up to much but here it is.
