Buck Rush 291 and California Penal Code 653K

Is owning a Buck Rush 291 with the ASAP (assisted opening) technology a violation of the California Penal Code 653K?

Since Buck was in California at the time,I'd say not. Buck also has a hardcore reputation of designing knives that under normal cicumstances are 50 state legal. The Rush is one such knife.
You also have to read the code very carefully to get where they are going with it. Enjoy, you've got a nice knife there. guy
