Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows anything about an buck sharpening clamp. My father has one but the adjusting rod is rusted. I was wondering if this was covered by the buck warranty. If now does anyone know where I may be able to find a replacement.

I don't think Buck makes those anymore. A machine shop might be able to cut you another adjusting rod. You can also get a similar clamp (which I always found very useful for establishing a bevel) from John Juranitch's company in Ely, Minnesota. He wrote The Razor Book of Sharpening and has a company called Razor Edge Systems. Check out the ads in popular knife magazines.

Brian,
Buck hasn't had those sharpening systems in their line for quite a few years now. We may be able to fix it so it might be worth the try to send it in.
You can send it to us at
