Hello all. :)

I own a Buck skinner that has a very beautiful and thick stag handle...the butt of the handle is the flared base of the antler. The words "Buck U.S.A." is upside down on one side of the blade and the other side has "158809" hand scribed on it at the bottom of the blade(same spot on the blade as the "Buck USA.", but opposite side. This is also written upside down and hand done as the lettering is rough. This knife does not have a sheath or box but is brand new with factory edge.

What do I have for an expected value for Ebay or for sale to an individual? If someone that can post pictures here on this forum wants to do them for me, send me your email.

Thanks!

J-,
The numbering leads me to believe that the knife was not done at Buck. It sounds like one that was rehandled outside of Buck. We never used that type of numbering system. The blade sounds like it is from the 1967 to 1972 timeframe.
If you can get a picture posted, that would really help.

If you want to send me an email Joe...I'll send you a picture to post here. I also have another 103 with the same upside "Buck" on the blade and with the sheath...it's nice also. I'll probably be posting these on "Evil Bay" this weekend. I'd love to do a highest bidder auction with this group..rather see it go to a deserving member. :)

Thanks Joe. Send me an email, so I can send you back pictures.
