Buck Solution 888 identify

Does anyone have any information for identifying a 'Solution 888' as a original Buck item not a cheap and nasty rip off ? (numbers/marks).

I looking to buy one second hand but before i do i need some way of making sure it's real.

Does this mean much and is it as per other 888's ?
