My Buck 121 , I found this knife over 30 years ago in a repossessed car at a auto auction which I worked at as a kid , no sheath. Over the years , I’ve used this for everything from primary kitchen knife , camping/fishing/hunting companion , to garage tool. It’s cut wire, been thrown, scraped , carved, left outside and at times forgotten about.


I sent it to Buck for a “spa “ March 5th and received it back the 29th. Here’s some before and after pictures. Great deal and great service ,, under $7 ! They sent me a decal and a 25% code. I’m going buy or have a sheath made. It’s going in the safe with my collection.

That's incredible. Makes me wish I could send in an old discontinued Kershaw fixed blade for such a treatment.
 
Very neat, I love these kinds of posts in general, before and after. It's great how Buck stands behind their product, makes me want to get one just because.

BTW, that spa job is simply amazing.
 
Definitely looks great, especially since the knife is stainless steel.
I like patina on an old carbon blade, but stainless usually looks better new.

Buck stands by their products for sure, and I've been told they take pleasure in servicing old knives like this.
The older the better.
 
Wow they hooked that up pretty good. I’m impressed with Buck! Didn’t know they did that.

You and me both brother (username is the clan motto), come back wielding a claymore and a sporran with a bottle of Drambuie stashed inside, and a sprig of heather given as a memento from a wee lassie. Smiling like a spa treated Buck.
