Buck spa treatment pictures , before and after

Its the magic of the buffing wheel.
Buck does more than just polish for a Spa Treatment.
Regardless of what it needs, they fix the problem(s). I have a early 2 Dot (1974 or 1975, the last version of the 2 small handle pins) that needs covers, (1 is chipped) some "engraving" on the bolsters removed, and a new blade. I may not get a 440C replacement blade (the original is 440C, but it was broken and reprofiled by a previous owner, just like the "engraving" was by a previous owner. I don't know if both were by the same person though.)
But the knife will look like a new 2 Dot when I get it back.

Ok, you've used it for years. It survived a ton of abuse and all it took was one spa treatment to bring it back to near new condition. Right?
So my question is this. Why in the name of Zeus' butthole are you turning it into a safe queen?!?!?
Putting it in the collection....?? In the safe?
That knife has proven it can take it without you really caring about it. THAT is impressive. Why not put it in a sheath and slap that bad boy back on your hip where it belongs? It seems obvious to me that you actually care about it now. With that it should last at least triple as long as it did before.

I have the same experience with the Buck service. The best in the business.
Any time you can send in a beat up well used knife from the 1970s and have it come back looking new for 10 bucks or less is simply amazing!!
I have drawers full of assorted blades from Walmart specials to custom makers and they sit idle while I admire and use my Bucks.
A great family and a great American owned company. USA!!!

Buck is example of customer service for all other in the industry to follow. When you consider the price point of their products - they are truly amazing.

Much love for Buck Knives!
