Hello to all knife enthusiasts! This is my first post in here folks.
Well since being a kid and especially during boy scouts i always liked blades and now after many many years i am buying a buck 119 special (the one with the black phenolic handle).

I am going to do it from an ebay shop. The price is about 47$ but i am wondering: Since at the official buck knives website the suggested price is around 70$ is there a chance of imitation ?

Actually all ebay stores sell that model at around 40-50$ and after some browsing the forum(search doesnt work why?) i saw that this was the actual price range, but i thought about asking for some expert advice. I hope there is not any caveat and that simply ebay offers great bargains ...

Anyone folks here that received crap of ebay ? I am in the EU (Greece). Do you
think there will be any trouble with confiscation or something similar ?
I am thinking about that but the fact that it's a knife and not a bazooka makes me feel better. Any experiences with that case (picky customs police)?

The ebay query that turns out the stores offering currently buck 119 is: http://tinyurl.com/hkeo8
(i used tinyurl in order not to paste a 350 character spaghetti line.)

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Go for it man. The buck 119 is a fantastic fixed blade. I had one until hurricane Katrina washed it away. Yeah, $40 to $50 is the average retail for that knife. I miss mine. :(

I'd buy from New Graham Knives, not from epray. His reputation is stellar and his price is right. Epray is a crapshoot. One Stop Knife Shop would also be a place to check out since it is owned by the same person that owns this forum.
