I have a Buck spirit of 76 that has a red, white, and blue handle and
wanted to know if anyone has any info on this knife, i've seen a few on
ebay with wood handles but have never seen one with the same handle
as mine.

to post a picture so maybe you can post it.

the red and blue handle material looks to be laminated wood that is dyed
and the white looks to be corian

this is first i have seen this handle variation ...looks nice very different
has that clear through tang like a 124 and finger grip hollows ...
any one know if this is a buck variation or a custom by another knife-maker?
will be greatfull for any info!

I emailed Joe Houser and his reply on this knife was if he remembers right only 2 of these knives were made. Buck's custom guy Wilde Bill Cody made 2 of these a few years ago and they were sold through the company store. Joe thinks the other knife like this one has stars in the blue area of the flag.

Thanks for the info Joe
Tom
