Buck standing behind their products

Good to know, cuz they are gonna need it with how much their quality control seems to have slipped. ;)

Just got an Alpha Hunter folder from amazon.com on Thursday. Lockup at 95% (almost off the right edge of the tang). A new one is arriving this morning (FedEx Saturday). I hope this one's better, since I really like the look & feel of the knife.

Guess I'd better hang onto that 1999 model then, if you guys are right. The new one is stamped "USA" if that makes a difference. My understanding was that it's the imported Bucks that are causing problems these days, not the US-made knives..?...

Nope, my last SIX prob knives all US made: 2 Gents, Vantage Select, Vantage Force Avid, 110 Ecolite, and Bucklite Max folder.

Yeah, I got a Vantage Select that was all the way to end and had vert. play. The bevel on the blade lockup surface was more flat than bevel. Similar with a Vantage Force Avid.
