How many of you guys have a Buck 112 with their state on it? Mine is from 1989. It is number 84 out of 250 tang reads Buck Custom USA . Anyone else have one?

Thanks,
John

i have some with states names on them ,,,
budk did not make a line of state knives
they are ordered that way and the art paid for ..
sadly i dont think you will see many more ...
min order is 250 or more now so limited issues are a thing of the past!!!

I don't have a 112 with my state on it, but i do have a 110 with my state on it, Montana.

Hey guys, Thanks for the info. Would ya'll mind sharing some pics? Does anyone know how many states had these made?

Thanks,
John

Thanks Dave, but now I need to send you my dry cleaning bill because I drolled all over myself ;). Very nice knives. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks,
John

I have a Texas Sesquicentennial 110 that has a picture of the Alamo and I think the dates 1838 and 1988. I could easily have the dates wrong.

I really like that Montana 110. Thanks for sharing. I have been looking for another knife like these, but have not had any luck. I thought it might make a good collection project, but it seems they are pretty hard to find.

Thanks guys for sharing (I would really like to see that Texas knife), I enjoy looking at all the nice artsy knives.

I don't believe there have been too many 112s etched, besides the ones etched in black with some company's logo. The North Carolina knife is the only state etched 112 I can find. I have several 110s etched with states.

I'm glad you brought that up, because I happened on a company that will Laser etch blades with your logo...or supply a Buck with the blade (or scale) already Laser etched... ;)

I'm not saying that a bunch of us should pool our resources and order 25 or so...I'm not even suggesting that...because I don't have a clue as to what to have etched on the blade... :o

I'm proud of my Buck knives collection but,,

Unfortunately, not very proud of my State....(Ca.) :(

I'd guess 25 with "World's Greatest Buck Knife Collector" shouldn't be hard to get rid of :D

strange ,,, i have thought many times ...
i wander if some of us could split an order for some spechal knives...
as if we could all agree on a custum design!!!
but wow would'nt it be great to have a very limited order!!!
i get goose bumps at the thought....

Hey Dave- you very well may be on to something here! We all have a start from our BUCK common ground and you have shown a propensity for going fixed, which is my near-n-dear, so how about it? 250+ knives? How many of us loafers are there here? Lets see...one for collecting and one for using and one for a Christmas gift (for ourselves). 250 divided by three minimum is about 80 of us. Are we eighty strong?

Dave

We've been over this road before...Say $50 for the finished knife...250 minimum...That's $12,500 up front; Buck doesn't run their business on promises...

Make your $12,500 check out to Buck Knives Inc and put me down for one...

I could always use another Buck for the collection :D. There is something about a Buck knife that makes me smile. Like someone else said on the forum "Can't have just one". I just don't have 12,500 to cough up.

Thanks for sharing the pics.

Thanks,
John
