Buck Strider 881

Bump- I just received my 881. Thanks you, razzle!
I have to say that this folder rivals the SnG. I actually like the handle shape better. This folder is one of the ultimate pocket tanks. I just love it.
There has to be a cult or something, regarding this folder. It's that cool.

Congratulations! Agree completely. I picked this 880SP up a couple of years ago, it had been sitting on the shelf in a little store for years. The handle is a little blocky and the liner is a tad sticky, just like my Emerson Commander. It's the 154CM version and so far it has held a very sharp edge extremely well. Moderate use only but it still has no blade play at all. The centering was off a tad when I got her and it took loosening the scale screws and adjusting the order they were tightened in to get it centered but other than that it's been great. I'd like to get one in ATS-34 too. It is a tad large in the pocket and I've thought about getting an 881. Just hasn't happened yet.

Do you mean too heavy/bulky for your pocket? Mine feels just right.
This one is going to be my EDC for a looooong time.

No, just a little wide. If I have anything else in the same pocket I just find the 880 a bit wide to get my hand past when reaching in.
