1st units are going through with the new improved edge. We have changed the grind style so that there is not the 1/4" wedge at the choil.

Just thought you would like to know...

Never did like or see much value to that wedge in the first place. Good riddence. Otherwise, great knife.
 
Glad to see that it got fixed. I have a BG42 version and I ground down the unsharpened edge myself after getting it. I never really understood why it was ground that way. I also had to round the edges on the G10 handles with some 1000 grit sandpaper as the edges were to "square".
 
Thanks for the update,would it be possible to post pictures of the old and new styles together.
 
I would be interested in seeing the new design as well... when is it slated for release?? Will you be at the NYC knife show next month??
