It's a large knife, for SERIOUS users.

Blade length 4". Length, closed: 5 3/8". Weight: 5.75oz. Liners: Titanium. Scales: G10. Blade steel: The first 500 will be BG42, then they will switch to ATS34.

The first 500 will also be numbered and will have the BosMark, indicating that they were heat treated by Paul Bos. You can figure that the first batch will probably be of interest to collectors.

MSRP will be $190.00. That is what I will sell them for when I get them.

I don't know when they will ship but I am number 3 on the list for delivery. I have fifteen on order and they should be pretty low numbers.

I've been told that they might be out around May, but I have been receiving new products fairly regularly the last few weeks so they could show up any time.

I would still like to know more about the construction, lock design, liner thicknes, etc. Not to be a P.I.T.A.......just curious. I am hoping that for its size, it's sort of overbuilt for rugged use!

It's a locking liner, titanium, I don't know the thickness but it's substantial. The prototype I saw was definitely overbuilt.

As I said above, this is a big knife and very strong. While only a good field test will tell for sure, it's appearance suggests that it is well suited for hard, rugged use.

Strider doesn't design any light duty tools.

The only adjustments I would make is to have it with a spearpoint blade instead of a tanto and a double bevel instead of a chisel grind. That would only be to satisfy my personal preference for what I like in a knife.
