Buck Strider? Collector or beater?

I just got some Buck/Strider knifes in a trade all new in box but this one has the box end ripped off but the knife looks NEW no scratches or blemishes...does anyone know the model # and approximate value?

I don't collect so I don't know if I'm going to sell them or not :confused:

May want to post in the Buck subforum. Someone there should be able to help you.

Should be a number on the knife and or box. What are the markings on the knife/box?

Are they all like the one pictured? How many do you have?
 
Thanks for the info, I only have one of these but a few folders in a storage trade. They are all marked with a crest Strider and Buck in a circle thing? Also Camillus Heats and other knifes.
 
the folders are great beaters IMO, the 889, basically a clone of the SMF is really nice, main difference is a high hollow instead of a flat grind
 
the brown and black look like the 889, mines black, if you do use them, the coating comes off pretty easily
 
Ok the Buck strider model is a 890TX. Its really a hefty knife I like mine a lot. Price is roughly $125.00 if you can find one.

I believe the model # is BU890TX and it was called the Tanto "Monster" fixed blade. Can't help you out on price/value.
