Buck Strider experts, Real or fake?

Hey PD,
do you know the history of the ones in your collection or are they potentially counterfiet.

I just got a DW vantage from wally world and it has the lasered markings but their is a date mark for o10, though hard to see.

Mine are genuine fakes, authenticated by Buck! :thumbup:

Buck seems to have switched to laser marking a lot of the knives rather than stamping them.

Buck is lasering and engraving the markings on a lot of knives rather than stamping them as in the past.

It looks cheap.....in plain language, crappy.

And it's the same type of cheap marking that the fakers use.

Odd, isn't it?

If Buck continues this trend toward "Penny Wise, Pound Foolish," they will lose customers. I know I'll never buy a knife that lacks a good, old-fashioned stamp.

How many fakes show up at Buck for Spa treatment or work only to be told that their knife is not a Buck I wonder.

I've wondered the same thing.
