I narrowed it down to three different blade lengths, at 3 different price points:
4.5" Cold Steel Master Hunter for $60
4" Entrek Companion for $90-$150 (depending on sheath).
3.75" Tomey custom S.U.C. for $270 (similar to this one)
Chatted with Kathleen for a while tonight, and it definitely looks like an S.U.C. is in my future.
