Buck Strider Tarani ATS34 Bos??

Well the seller has agreed to take the knife back "minus shipping". Although I paid for the knife as X amount of dollars shipped. Personally I would think that what it costs me to send it back should in fact be the minus shipping part. So in effect he's dinging me twice.

I'll just be glad to get back what I can on this sideways deal.

Sounds like some of you have already figured out who it is and I'll let it go at that. Consider yourselves enlightened.

Thanks for all your help and Happy Holidays to you all,

Dan

...IMHO he oughta send you your money back plus twice the shipping...

Looks to me like it's his fault since he failed to specify the fact that the blade is "mystery metal."

You shouldn't have to pay for a damned thing.

I wouldn't send it back until he sent me shipping money for it to go. And I'd tell him that I'd give him two weeks and then I'd start charging him five dollars a day for storage and my trouble of keeping it safe for him.

His statement that he couldn't do pics because he didn't have a camera should have been a dead giveaway.

Your right BG42EDGE as many times as I've seen that lame excuse about the lack of anything related to producing decent pictures just makes me wonder "What The Heck" this is the 21st Century after all; but there was a time in the not to distant past when just about everyone on this forum was a cut above the rest of society. No more though.

Just a quick postscript. I dug out the box to my SBT that I referenced in my prior post in this thread. I carried this knife during my last tour in Iraq. It was a factory blem I bought at the Buck Factory Store the year Cabela's had their Post Falls store grand opening. The price was $25. Buck did'nt do the dog track sale that fall as an agreement with Cabelas, who is a major retailer of Buck knives, and instead sold some of their blems and build outs thru the factory store at Christmas time. The box is marked 0887BKSSBT-B, with "Factory Blemish" above the model number and highlighted with a green highlighter. The box is also dated 07-31-2007 on the bar code sticker. So my knife and the one Tracker Dan bought are both model 887's and not the more common882's or 889's.
