Is the Buck Titanium handle lockblade still in production? If so, what is the model and price on one?

Rattlerxx,
It has been discontinued for several years but the good news is that it is going to be reintroduced for 2001 with a new anodized crystalline finish that looks fantastic in the sample catalog I obtained. The only thing lacking is that the knife should be offered with ionfusion or a premium steel. Alas, that is not indicated. However, I believe it would be extremely easy for Pete's Custom shoppe to put one of the blades from that menu in this frame. The size is the same. How about that, Pete??!!

First it was no, then yes.

The 560XLT-Ti went out of production last year because the factory that made the titanium handles for Buck burned down.

I guess they found someone to start making the handles again because it's back in the 2001 catalog. It isn't the same though. The handle is anodized with a crystaline finish. In the catalog it looks like it has a slightly yellowish color to it.

It is called the 560 XLT-Ti Crystal. Model # is 560WC. Catalog number is 5134. MSRP is $86.00.

I still have some of the old ones left in either black or gray. $69.95 for the black ones, $64.95 for the gray ones.

You guys just won't let this Pete's thing go away will you? Good! I use these posts, which show support for Pete's, as amunition to expand its offerings.
Hang in there with me on this one.

Just recieved a black and a grey 560 XLTi from Dennis Wright and got to tell ya all they are great knives! By the way, they are absolutely mint new in the box with sheaths and all the paperwork, even a little 98-99 Buck catalog along with each knife. I don't know how many he has left, but you cannot beat the price. Dennis is a great guy to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to purchase from him again.

Hey Joe, put me in on the vote for a special blade in the new XLTi...preferably BG42, but a plain-edge BuckCote blade would also be nice.

Is the entire knife black or grey, or just the handle? Also put me in for expanded selection at Pete's

The black one is all black with the exception of the stainless? handle rivets. Yep, blade too. The gray one has a satin finished blade, backspring and spacer just like the standard 110. The handles are gray on the edges and false holes, but the flats are machined and left bright.

Sorry, no pics yet. Maybe one of these days I'll have the time to put some up.
