Buck Vantage & Buck Vantage Force

i want to get this knife, but dont know much about it, no video reviews of it yet.

If you do a search here on this forum you'll find plenty of reviews of the Vantage line.

I believe that you'll get a better review here than you will from one of the videos. In my opinion, the video knife reviews that I've watched were good for a laugh, but not much else. :D

I'm waiting for the Buck Vantage Ultra.Titanium scales, frame lock with ball bearing blade bushing.I saw one last night in my dreams.

Not much on the Force series though, his main interest.
My quick take is that all the Vantage line, except for the Force series, are fine knives, but none have a very effective grip, the Paperstone being the best.

I got the Force Avid as much for the aluminum grips as anything. Looks like at some point I'll change them over to one of the non-Force models I have to make the best all around Vantage.

That's true, I hadn't thought of their website.:o

I know of at least three variation's not listed there. One made for Bond Arms (an Avid) and only shows up in the special projects list, the Dymondwood Select that was available at Walmart, and the Cherry Dymondwood Avid that was listed on Buck's web specials page.

I don't suppose it's possible to order those cherry handles?

I saw those on Web Specials the day before they disappeared. I keep hoping someone will dig up another case of them.

*Sigh*
