Buck Vantage Pictures

Thanks for the pix.
I gotta say, the Vantage just might be Bucks nicest folder.

I'm with you on that, Lycosa. Big time.

I'd like to pose another question to this thread of Vantage fans. If you could design future Vantages, what would you like to see?

Not ultra modern scale materials, I want old high class scales like fancy wood, buffalo horn, really nice colored jigged bone, etc. Don't give a 'spit in your hat' about carbon fibers, etc. Lets see some class, charge $20 more and it will work.

This is my first post since becoming a member, so first off, I'm glad to be here. I think wood is always the best way to go. I have a few Buck's, but I am waiting for my first vantage to arrive. I do believe I'm going to have a new favorite.

I agree with your thoughts on the natural scales but I also think a CF or Titanium version would be very nice as well as yellow delrin.

a super Vantage, either some sorta Premium natural scale or CF, bearings instead of washers and S30V in the regular sizes from before plus a middle of the line size, like 3" or 3 1/8"

I'd like to see as many different versions as possible, but how far is Buck willing to stretch the price? I think one of the main attractions to the vantage was the ability to get a knife with such good materials for a bargain price. I know that the price is catching up the materials, but for an S30V with G10 that's American made it's still worth every penny.

It smelled fantastic while I was shaping them but sadly no smell now. I sealed it with Tru-Oil to make it shiny

Ok, My last two special small Vantages, fancy wood scales, JaggCustoms. Top has polished blade. 300

Oh. Wow. Great scales, Bighaze51 and 300Bucks.

Does Jagg Customs have a website?
