Buck Woodsman 102 Returning to my Roots

Thanks for the great story. I hope your wife finds something more worthwhile then her old job.

I'm wondering if I should get the 102 or the 105 for myself. How do they compare?

Also, this might be a weird question, but that can of beer, how much liquid did it contain? It will help me gauge the size of the 102, as I find myself a bit confused.
 
Can of beer is 12oz.

The 105 has a larger handle, and a longer blade. I'll post up a comparison shot of the 2 after Dec 2nd when my internet renews. I'm about out of bandwidth for the month. So I'm in conserve mode.

Lost Viking. Sorry to hear about your wife's job. Thank you very much for sharing the story. I really enjoyed it and the pictures were wonderful. Nothing like returning to our roots.

My 10 yo daughter has been asking for a cherrywood 102 from the big fish store since she was 5. This year Santa is bringing it for Christmas. I hope one day she will have some memoires as fond as yours of her outings with it.
