Just finished this and it's my favorite of all the knives I have ever done. The blade is a little over 9.5" and overall is 15". The handle is stablized buckey burl scales with a paper micarta frame. Thanks for looking.

Just excellent in every way, the buckeye burl and the brass was a great call. Classic big strong knife, top of the line Ray L. build!

Was that for a customer or you keeping it for yourself?

Ray if you make anymore Wharncliff's please post them somewhere for viewing?

Thanks to everyone for the great comments. I made this bowie with the intent of keeping it for myself. I really fell in love with this knife. I'll be keeping it at least until I make another one I like better or until I really need the money then I'll sell it.

Very nice lines on that one, fer sure! Love the way you've done the clip/swedge or whatever you call it... And the way you've held the lines from the ricasso to the handle; very nice proportions!

hey love the knife a real beauty!!
and the sheath!!
what is that stud on the sheath called and where do you get them?

Jim, I don't know the proper name for that stud. I'd just call it a frog stud. I don't know where to buy them. I made that one myself using a binding screw post on the back side and a hidden bolt handle fastener and washer on the outside that I rounded and polished. I'm going to make a frog type belt loop for it.
