SOLD
"BuckEye Burl Outfitter
Heres another Outfitter this time in BuckEye Burl. There is an amazing hamon line on the blade that is visible even under the satin finish however, my photography didnt capture it too well. You can see it a little on the left profile towards the tip. I make these knives for outfitters and professional guides to use throughout the hunting season and they perform flawlessly. Being that they are differentially heat treated, the reports I get back from the outfitters is that they are amazed that they only have to strop them slightly to touch up the edges.
Discounted - If you look closely at the picture, there is a very tiny crack behind the thong hole tubing on the right side. It occurred when I installed the tubing and peened it one too many times. The crack was stabilized with cyanoacrylate and I guarantee that its not going to move or get worse. However, I cant with good conscience sell it without disclosing this minor imperfection. Of course it doesnt affect this pieces functionality or its overall appearance for that matter.
Take a look at the example of my leatherwork below as Ill be making the sheath to the new buyers preference for right or left hand carry and color brown, black, or brown body with black border.
