Buckeye Burl - what can you tell me about it?

Oh yeah, Black Ash burl is incredible. I will have to check if I have a pic on Flickr.

Blue g10 with natural are my favorite accents with Buckeye Burl. @Tekton has that little Bow Legged Joe that passed through here some time ago. Cool little knife that has the right amount of each with the blue and 1/4" natural pin.

It would be great to have a dedicated “WOOD - PIC ONLY” thread as an easy-to-scroll-through resource - esp for some of us newcomers.

Ideally, it would be a thread where members post examples of the different wood options offered on Fiddlebacks esp as the pics on many older threads are not (or not easily) accessible since the changes to some of the hosting sites.

Only posts with pics allowed (“likes” welcome and encouraged :) - but no other commentary or discussion :mad: ). Each pic would have a brief description: type of wood and whether natural or dyed.

Maybe even make it a “sticky”?

Just a thought prompted by this thread.

@VANCE @Fiddleback ?

ETA: or perhaps a general “scales” thread. Same concept, but opening it up to all materials used.
