I just finished adding these new blocks of stabilized Buckeye Burl to our web store.

Buckeye Burl is always unusual looking but these ones are a bit more bizarre than usual. These were from my experiment where I tried to speed up the blue-ing process by feeding the fungus that causes the blue colors in buckeye. Well......it didn't work like I had expected. It caused the buckeye to react differently than normal resulting in a similar but definitely different look.
Not what I expected, but still very cool and unusual.

This is some really good stabilized Redwood burl that I just added to the web store. A few 2nd Growth pieces and several old growth. Click on the photo to go to the web store if you want to take a closer look.

Added some new Koa today as well.
The red Koa is my favorite color for Koa. A couple of the compression curl pieces have really really bold figure. Nice stuff.

I just added a handful of Stabilized Bog Oak blocks to the store. Carbon dated to be 5460 years old.
These are a bit smaller blocks than the last batch so the prices are lower as well.

These are some real nice stabilized blocks of Claro Walnut burl I just added to the store.
Claro Walnut is one of the types of Walnut that grows in California. Tends to have good contrasting colors and 3 dimensional figure.

That walnut is beautiful, just placed an order. I THINK I requested to have it cut into scales. If not, I do want it cut :)
