Bucklite Max folder

Great bang for the Buck (sorry:D)... I have a bunch of these scattered around, glove compartment, desk (letter opener), tool box, for chores I don't want to sacrifice a hair-popping edge on. Sturdy, 420HC is a good all-round steel, and you can loan one of these to a non-knife person without worrying too much (standard precautions apply for knife morons: "...is this thing sharp? Ouch!).

I just have the one 482 and as has been mentioned great for the bug out bag which is were mine is right now. I really like the grind on the blade it's a cutting bastard! The Eco-lite will hold up more like the regular 110/112 in my humble opinion.

One of the 422's I picked up off the net and I still haven't been able to get all the grit out. Every weekend I spray it out with wd40 and it's getting cleaner slowly but surely, but I don't think it was ever babied by the previous owner and it still has perfect lockup and tighteness.

This has worked for me... Fill sink with a couple of inches of hot water and detergent. Use hot water in Waterpik and squirt inside opened knife while knife is submerged in sink. Open and close knife in sink. Rinse with hot water, then wipe dry. Spray with WD40 and open and close blade. Wipe inside with old t-shirt wrapped around Starbuck's coffee stir stick. Oil with lubricant of choice. - Chuck
