Bucklite Max

If I remember right I used my Dremel Tool. The main reason I took them off they aggravated me while sharpening. Most of the time I could do with out them on nearly every knife but I do tolerate them on most they came on.

I have a 482 , I don,t think I could of bought a better knife for the 20 some odd dollars. Really great EDC and MADE IN THE USA.

He is new, we all have to learn.

Snowcampaxe, this would be a good thread topic for discussion. Why don't you start a new thread about your 482? It would be great to discuss it. Perhaps you have some pictures, too?

Or add pictures and discussion here. Old threads aren't bad if there's something new to say.

It's all perspective. If an old thread was a wine or a whiskey or a cigar, we would say it has aged and that would be considered good. I don't mind aged threads

I picked up a 482 for about $20 as well. It was display model, no box, no nothing. I bought it because it was a Buck and it said USA on the blade and it was priced right. I didn't expect much from it, but I have been pleasantly surprised. It's light and strong, has a cool blade, opens one handed and has a pocket clip. It rides in the cup holder of my truck's console.
