Bucklite Max

So, I guess I don’t really like this knife and it will be tossed in the tackle box very shortly.

Well guys, I said I was going to banish my Max to the tackle box but I haven't. Its been sitting open on my office work table were I glue up inlay on my projects and take pictures

this knife has grown on me tremendously. The modified blade profile has become very attractive to me

Well fellas I thought I'd quote some of my previous comments to remind all of my original thoughts and the transition to a "I like this knife" position.

So here's the latest on the saga of my Max. It’s been promoted to a garden knife. I gave it to my wife (with the "its sharp honey" warnings) for use in the garden cutting heads of broccoli, cabbage, kohlrabi, etc. She promptly cut herself as handling sharp knives seem to be a mystery for her. But the Max has been a champ. I asked honey “where’s your garden knife” and she informed me she was just leaving it out in the garden. I jumped up and retrieved it and after several weeks out in the weather it showed not one ill effect. So I said you should bring it in and rinse it off and put it on the window ledge in front of the sink. So she did and I’ve been using it to cut up green beans for supper of late.

The knife is a champ at its price point. I’ve really like to minimal weight of this knife. It’s just good choice for routine everyday cutting duties. I would still like to see a linered up dymondwood version of this knife.

PS. The plastic handles still look cheap but hey its a $20 knife.

WhenI first read your post I was shocked. My MAX had none of the problems you described. I love the thing. Now after using it I regularly EDC it. Glad you gave it a further chance.
