I just got gifted a BuckMaster 184 Hoffritz which was used as displayed at Hoffritz stores only about 50 made. That’s what I was told if anyone knows more about that knife please let me know.

Hahah I got it from an old family friend who was a chairman for Hoffritz. The they manufactured about 50 BuckMaster 184 Patent Pending branded Hoffritz for display at their store I got it gifted the knife yesterday with the original box and all paper work. Is a really aggressive looking knife I wrote it out today and I got many looksI have to laugh... Why?
Because I had been looking to buy one to put it in my collection, and here you come in and say you got one "gifted" to you! Oh, sure, you get one that just lands in your lap!

I’m 22 but from what I herd it was one of most popular knife in the 80s. “All the cool kids had it” it one good looking knife and I have a mid size collection nothing like the 184.14 year old me is green with envy.

Yeah outside the box it says $125 and that back in the 80s was a whole lot for a knife.It was vary popular in terms of wanting one! It was less so in terms of having one. They were not cheap!

I'm pretty sure I paid $125. I ended up selling it for $440 but like 30 years later.Does anyone know what the average price for a Buckmaster 184 was during the years they were being produced?

That figre sticks in my head because there were a number of cool knives that had that price then. The Cold Steel Master Tanto was one of them.
I bought a Blackie Collins Combat Master for $125 too. Oh and Pat Crawford made me a boot knife for $125.
Don't have it anymore. Sold that off too. But still have the photos.still got that Pat Crawford boot knife? love to see it, if ya do.....
