BUCKMASTER 184.I bought it new in,I think '86.Can anyone help me identify blade steel?

I am not really sure what the M stands for. I have seen it referred to as '425M' and '425 Modified'...dont really understand the modified. Either way, the Buckmaster was an interesting knife, not my style but you can find plenty of people who use them and they seem to be happy with it other than the weight.

Check www.agrussell.com I think he has a steel chart somewhere on the site.
