Bucks and guns

This is just a comfortable combo for me, any where I go. MayoTNT and an early '60s .38 S&W .
[ This combo is my new hunting set up,bear&deer. Ruger.454 Casull, tricked by Mr.Sandy Garrett(Northern Va. Gun Works),trigger shaved & pull reduced, action worked, and vented @Magna-port. The 119 I got for an elk hunt with my brother, outside Glenwood Springs,Co.
Scott,
As a revolver, the Ruger is right up there! A lot of my fellow cops used to carry the S&W K-frame 357's but the frame was too small to allow for extended fire without problems with the frame warping due to overheating. The larger N-frame was better. It's one of the reasons I chose to carry a larger framed Colt Phython. My 112 was right behind it on my gun belt.

Mike,
I hope not to have to overheat the barrel:D The Ruger was built to upgrade me from my S.S. S&W 686. For trips and the few days I have a lot of cash, it's the Glock 21 w/Trijicon night sights, and that Buck in my pocket....should all else fail:D :) :D :)

Scott,
If you end up getting the Glock, I think you'll really like it. It's a fine handgun with a high degree of accuracy and reliability. It's not a coincidence that most law enforcement agencies carry it as their standard issue these days. I sold mine when I got married seven years ago. I have recently convinced my wife that we should get another for the house, so I'm seriously looking at an H&K. Now pair that up with a Buck Mayo TNT and we're talking about a sweet combo! ;)

Flawless!!
