yes, I'd not thought of that, and it makes sense, to stick to the color/look that they have had with these knives.

Honestly, I do like the grey, and it will probably be the first factory new Buck knife I have ever bought.. I'm thinking it should be a good companion for my .22 that I re-stocked in grey laminate. :)

But as you said, they do read here, so I hope that they would consider other colors in the future.

I think Buck should take a page from the Case playbook and slightly vary their models every so often to stoke the fires among the collector crowd. I'm not saying they should start producing safe queens, I just mean offer slight variations for those us knife nuts to get excited about. :) I suspect Buck had this in mind when they started date-stamping their knives in 1986.
