I'm going to be starting a "Budget Blades Series" in the near future. These will all feature black canvas micarta handles, (other handles available as options), and 1/8" thick O1 steel blades. These will not come standard with a sheath, choice of kydex or leather sheaths will be an option. The best part is these will sell for $100 + $8 shipping! This is a great way to get into a handmade knife without breaking the bank, I've seen plenty of mass produced knives for more than this!

Holy Crap!
John, with all respect due, you Sir are a pain in the ass...

When you read my PM you will see why I said that!

In all honesty, this is Great news and there will be Plenty of people getting Great blades for Fantastic prices!
If the EO1 sold quick, then this should see a lot of action.

I recommend a sticky to showcase the lineup!

looking forward to seeing pics of the different models in the lineup.

Budget Blades in 100$ ??? Are you kidding me? It is already costly too much. Any way all the best. Hope those blade will be good quality.

I bet you are the same company that keeps emailing to buy your "high quality Pakistan made blades." Your wording in the emails always makes me laugh.

These knives will be simple designs, no flash, all function. The first in the series, the drop point, will be shown later next week.

First blank will be heat treating tomorrow. These are full size knives, 8" overall, with a 3 3/4" blade.

I just wanted to make a 100% handmade knife available to the people that can't afford high priced knives. There will be no shortcuts on these, they will be made with the same care my other knives get, just no extra frills. I plan on showing it next Tuesday, if it is well received I will continue with more models.

"What this country needs is a good five-cent cigar"... and a good $100 handmade JK knife!

Jeff

Great idea. I hope everyone that uses a knife buys one. You make a great knife for those of us that actually use knives.

Excellent! Looking forward to it! What grind will they have? Full flat (please!) or scandi?
