Just 3 days ago my wife KathyJo told me to buy a new washer..My daughter in law washed my son's pants and his Vantage poped open and cut 3 or 4 slashes in the agitator. She thinks water runs down the cuts to the bottom of the machine and it smells sour. I had put some of the Super water proof tape on it when it happened but my cheep fix didn't last. I had just bought the washer..

Try filling them with epoxy.

Try filling them with epoxy.

If you do, use marine grade epoxy. I have helped a few friends fix hot tubs that way.

It's a top loader and thanks for the tip on the epoxy! Stuff happens..
