Budk been around selling cheap frost Cutlery knives longer than most online stores.
I used to get their catalogue in the 90s
I'm not sure how they are today though, but I'm guessing they are still legit
To clarify: I think their business is legit but their products are mostly junk and some extremely over priced because i just took a look. Just use discernment when choosing products there. I do like their m48 line of stuff though.

Yeah, trusted to sell you some BS. It will arrive, is what I am saying.
I made the mistake, and I KNEW IT WAS A MISTAKE even before I knew good knives or where/what to get, of spending more than a hundo at BudK. I had a liner-lock fall apart dangerously in my hands than I intended to seriously carry and use. I bought a bunch of stupid BS that broke, was gimmicky, etc. The only cool things they had that I wanted, the sub-caliber flare drop-ins for a single cartridge (what's up with these, anyone know??) are no longer on the site, so they just lost about their only business they could have with me.
A lot of their crap is "Handcrafted in China", a hilarious writing.
Best things you can get from BUDK: Giant, giant Timber Rattler bowie knife, with a lil engraving on it to hang up. Have one with my mom's maiden name on it. Giant 6" blade novelty stiletto, must be flipper or OTF to be cool. Mine is awesome, looks quite cool. Serves no purpose but that. Light use. Uhhhh.... caltrops. Airsoft ammo. Black powder shooting stuff. A big, huge, cheap slab of sharp metal that costs almost nothing and has no other purpose but to sit in a room like your garage and whack someone with during a really strange eventuality.
Avoid any good brands sold on BudK, such as Benchmade. They are marked up like wild and could be fake, these folks are unscrupulous liars, at best, their mindset is, "Well, nobody is REALLY thinking this stuff works, right?!" but they must have blinders. That's probably me making up best case scenarios for them. United Cutlery... oh I can show you some fun, buddy. Their catalouge still comes to my door every month.

I ordered a “sword” back in 2001 from BudK and it was absolute garbage. It was strictly a decorative piece so I didn’t mind if it wasn’t of the utmost quality. But what I got was laughable by any standards.
To the OP : maybe if you tell us what it is you’re looking for in a knife , we can point you in the right direction toward a decent knife from a decent dealer. Stay far away from BudK. Food for thought.
