buffalo horn handle

Finally finished the knife up this weekend. I am quite pleased with how it turned out.

Now to get the sheath finished up this week so the knife can go on a hunt in Australia the following week!

Very nice! Classic looking, I dig it! Is that stacked leather on either side of the horn?
 
Thanks! The photo isn't the greatest to say the least and doesn't show things very well. The stack on either side is actually birch bark. I hope to get some much better photos in a few days after I finish up the sheath.
