Buffalo Horn handles

jeffj's post about the 175 with rainbow scales reminded me about something. Right there on the next page is the 191BH, the "Zipper", with the gut hook and quite nice looking buffalo horn handles. I think this handle material is pretty darn good looking and was wondering if it's gonna be around for awhile as an option ? I got my 110 from Pete's shop with this material and I'd like to have a fixed blade with it too, but the Zipper isn't my cup of tea. Have the powers that be decided which fixed blade will be included in the Custom Shoppe ? I'm personally rooting for the Mentor. I can easily visualize a Mentor in BG42 with the rich black buffalo horn gracing the handle and a nice brown leather pouch sheath.

Try it, close your eyes...there, that's it, now you've got it. See it's not so hard, let's all do it together! Of course, your vision may vary from mine, but I think you get the idea.
Any more Mentor fans out there?

Brian,

I don't know what they are thinking of adding to PCKS in the way of a fixed blade. I am a big fan of the Mini Mentor. I use it for deer, turkeys, trespass fees, ect. I happen to know that the engineers had a few made up in bg-42 although they deny it when i ask for one for me! ;-)
