Buffalo horn.

TruGrit has some. I was just there talking with their knifemaker Jeff Mutz picking up a blade they heat treated for me. Give him a call and he can give you some tips on using it as well.
 
Almost all knife supply companies carry it.


Just for clarity, it isn't buffalo horn as in bison...it is buffalo horn as in water buffalo. The biggest source is Italy, IIRC, where the water buffalo is used to make mozzarella cheese.
 
You ever try milking a water buffalo? Its a thankless job.
