Buffalo Hunter ..

Hello one and all
New to the forum but don't let that put you off !! ... Been collecting knives forever now but really would like to find a knife my Dad used to own years ago. It was a massive Bowie style thing called a Buffalo Hunter, I will try and add a picture of one i found on Google.. Great knife but my Dad lost his somewhere and i would love to find one i could give to him... any advice would be awesome... Without knowing the maker, finding the specific knife in your post will be difficult. And perhaps not easy even if the maker is known. There are lots of experts on this forum and someone will be along shortly with more information. However, I suggest you check the internet auctions regularly as all sorts of things turn up there. Problem is a search yields a lot of "Buffalo Hunter" knives. But keep looking, you may get lucky. Don't know how much you are willing to spend. There are custom knife makers on this forum who could come close to duplicating the knife in the picture.
