Hi All,
Here is my latest a Buffalo Hunter/Skinner. The knife is modeled after a knife that I own that was made back in the 1850 and used for skinning buffalo. When used as a Skinner it is held edge up thumb on the "bottom" of the front bolster as seen in one of the images. Today it makes a hell of a hunting or camp knife. as well as a skinner. Extremely sturdy knife, good looking too.
Knife Specifics:
Material: Blade made from 3/16ths CPM-154-CM taken to a Rockwell hardness of 60, Bolsters from 440C, Pins 416 and Brass on the horn. Blade taken to 1500 grit then to a mirror finish flats to 650 then polished makes for a nice contrast.
Scales: Rams Horn with green fiber spacers.
Length: 10.25 inches
Blade length: from the bolster forward 4.75 inches
Width: Across the middle of the handle .75 inches
Weight: 12.3 oz
Sheath: Custom to the knife made by me from .080 Kydex. Spacers were used around the blade to keep the scratching to a minimum.
Price $415.00 including USPS priority shipping to the US.
This one is a user, yeah its pretty but it will take whatever you put it through. This is one very tough knife. PayPal is preferred. PM me here if you want it or contact me at kenhills@gmail.com for the PayPal address. Thanks for following along. Now the pictures.

Thanks for looking and comments are always welcome. Ken
