Buffer Question

I've seen some people have a buffer with spiked spindles. I think it is to allow you to change the buffer wheels without a wrench. Does anyone know who makes that style buffer?

Baldor makes fine (expensive) buffers that you can add their tapered spindles to. Tapered spindles are available for random shaft sizes for generic buffer/grinders, but they generally don't work well. Baldor uses a special tapered shaft to prevent wobble.
