  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Buffer survey Which one do you have?

I use the Grizzly knifemaker's grinder motors. You can buy just the motor from them for $165.

I full HP [14 amps], 1750 RPM.

Can't even start to slow these down, and they should last for a long, long time.

funny thing about buffers--they come equipped with tiny hands that snatch things from you. I thought I needed one a couple of years ago and bought a Craftsman buffer with long extended arms on both sides. great for buffing a bowie. Problem is that if you're not careful, it will snatch your knife right out of your hands! If you're very, very careful, its a great machine. I don't use it much-but I've got it. I think the cost out of the cataloge for 1/2 horse was about $150, stand extra--Dan
